Health care startup: Starting local & going global

NOTE: Once again we are completely "sold out" - please please please (yes 3x) update your RSVP accordingly so you can leave room for the people that want to attend! We are looking forward to an exciting program followed by networking and drinks

Technology advances and the labor mobility has certainly made the world flat again. For every startup there is always a dichotomy on the strategy to stay focused in a particular geographical area or to start broad. Specifically in healthcare: local cultures, regulations, money flows and data standards as well as many other constraints make it even harder to go global from day 1. At this event, we will have the pleasure of exploring options for health and medical startups to expand beyond their initial markets.

We also want to thank Microsoft for their sponsorship of this event! Please take a look at their global accelerators program here

Heleen Borleffs, Founder Tangible Result

(could not find a better/bigger picture :)

She will give a unique perspective of large corporate healthcare giants and what it takes to succeed in the B2B sales to global entities.

Mark Bloemendaal, Founder Implementation IQ

We all know that strategies mean nothing without implementation and execution. Mark has developed an "Implementation Analyzer" tool that can provide stakeholders a path to executing innovative projects in healthcare. While initially focused on Netherlands, his tool is now capable beyond the borders so to speak!

Technology, BD Technologies is tasked with identifying and developing innovative new technology that can be applied to new products that meet significant unmet medical needs
across the globe. BD is a strategic partenr of Microsoft Accelerator program and are excited to meet local startups driving innovative technologies in healthcare!
