Quality of data and advice found oniine in social media and search results.
Medical practices we have now are based on the Victorian difficulty of handling data. We can do better. Example: right now we have ethical problems with putting pregnant women on drug tests, but we then throw away that data when a pregnant woman inadvertently takes a drug - instead of adding it to the history of that drug and its' interactions. It's cheap to collect data now. Much cheaper than it was for Victorians. Stop throwing away data and start using it. Use some modern management methods to help patients - like an email after an appointment with the recommendations - stressed and anxious people do not have good recall. Some simple changes should have some benefits?
