What topic would you like to see discussed at the Health 2.0 London meetups?

Quality of data and advice found oniine in social media and search results.

Tell us about your view and contributions (past, present or future) to healthcare innovation/technology

Medical practices we have now are based on the Victorian difficulty of handling data. We can do better. Example: right now we have ethical problems with putting pregnant women on drug tests, but we then throw away that data when a pregnant woman inadvertently takes a drug - instead of adding it to the history of that drug and its' interactions. It's cheap to collect data now. Much cheaper than it was for Victorians. Stop throwing away data and start using it. Use some modern management methods to help patients - like an email after an appointment with the recommendations - stressed and anxious people do not have good recall. Some simple changes should have some benefits?

What is your company and what do they do. What is your role there?

MWM is my one person consulting company. I'm the consultant. I work in startups and established businesses, on management, web marketing, product management, tech management.

What are your goals for joining this group and how can we help you achieve them?

Understand where we are now. Contribute.

Please remember to have your full name on the profile, thanks!
