Excellent role play by Dr Hannan and Marilyn. Oscar nominations to follow I feel sure. On a serious note the message from Hyde of just push on and we'll keep improving as we go is the correct approach. At some point the "data/application silos" of various GP practices and NHS trusts will eventually integrate and Health 3.0 will begin...

Absolutely! Ridiculous that I'm a proponent of patient access to records and online ways to organise my life in general, my surgery have offered online appointment booking for years and I've never availed of it! Practice what you preach eh!?

Hi Linda. Don't be so tough on yourself. This is not yet standard practice but as you come across more people doing it, it will change and more of us will do it because we can, because it is convenient and we get help (for things like password resets or the workflow so that practices incorporate it as part of "business as usual"). There is still a lot we need to do but this is a good start. Once you have signed up for online services, inform your practice and tell others too whilst giving feedback (positive and negative). That's how these things grow and we learn from each other. Do tell us how you get on!

Hi, just wanted to say how much I enjoyed tonight's meetup! Was very well organised, great speakers covering different aspects of implementing & delivering an EPR solution ... Great networking with people from such varied backgrounds, but unfortunately I had to rush for a train and there were people I wanted to catch up with at the end!! Pizza was great too! Hope to make the next one, but if not, is the plan to stream all future events or was tonight a one off? Thanks guys,
    Linda
