About our Speakers
Dr. Muireann Cullen, Manager, Nutrition and Health Foundation (NHF)
The NHF is an independent partnership of industry, government, State agencies, internationally recognised scientists, health professionals and relevant stakeholders working together to address Ireland’s lifestyle, nutrition and health challenges. The NHF communicates evidence based information on nutrition, health and physical activity to encourage an improved and healthier society in Ireland. Further information is available at www.nhfireland.ie. Muireann Cullen obtained a PhD in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Trinity College Dublin in 2001. She joined the Food and Drink sector of IBEC in January 2008 to manage the Nutrition and Health Foundation. She has a wide range of experience spanning research, clinical and private practice, regulatory, public health and industry. She worked as a dietitian in a number of hospitals, as a technical executive in the Food Safety Authority of Ireland and as senior nutritionist for Cow & Gate. She was also the resident dietitian with TV3’s The Morning Show.
Jim Joyce, CEO of Point of Care
CEO and Founder, Point of Care Health Services, Dublin based Health Services company. Prior roles include General Manager and Founder of Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals (Ireland). 10 Years in the pharmaceutical Industry in varied roles at Schering Plough including Director of USA Finance Division and Director of Europe/Mid East/Canada, having worked in USA and Europe and have experience with both Primary Care and Specialty Biotech Product Lines. Prior to the pharmaceutical industry worked in financial services for investment firms of Smith Barney, Brown Brothers Harriman, and AG Edwards.
Anne Marie Graham
Anne Marie has worked in both the service provider and the industrial sector of occupational health and safety for the past 9 years and have a wide range of experience within industry including health and wellness, financial services, manufacturing and production, food and hygiene, hospitality and transport and engineering sectors of industry. She has also been involved in the teaching and training aspects of Occupational Health as a lecturer in Dublin City University on the Bachelor of Nursing Studies Program. Anne Marie is a member of a number of professional bodies including An Bord Altrainis, The Irish Nurses Organisation, and The Occupational Health Nurses Association of Ireland, the Irish Institute of Training and Development and BNI (Business Networking International). She has also launched a new program called Weigh Less. This is a motivational and behavioural change weight loss program where I work with individuals for 12 weeks. The program is safe, uses healthy principals. It guarantees a weight loss of at least 12 pounds!
SilverCloud is a new technology platform that enables healthcare professionals/organisations to rapidly create and deliver a broad range of engaging computerised therapeutic/wellness programmes to their clients across a single platform. SilverCloud can be delivered as a web-based or client server solution and can be supplied with or without content packages.
