***Please note in order to accommodate a World Cup match in which England are playing, the date has been moved by one day to the 18th.***
We will be meeting again at Baker Botts, just behind the Bank of England.
Alex Wyke from www.Patient-View.com/myhealthapps.net and I, on behalf of www.DHACA.org.uk will between us present our views on appropriate responses to the EU's Green Paper on mHealth (final responses due in by 3rd July). Almost everyone in the UK will be affected by proposed changes in the EU regulations affecting mHealth, and by other measures being considered by the European Commission so, whether or not you plan to make a response yourself, do come along and participate.
This will be followed by one of Mike Clark's excellent presentations on the detail of how the UK's health & social care system actually works - for those who have never heard his presentations before, these are not to be missed.
At the suggestion of Izzy Scott Moncrief, we are also going to trial a pitch session in which five startups each have five minutes to pitch their idea. Izzy has one already booked - the remaining four slots, which I'm hoping can cope with the changed date (please let me know if you cannot) are:
Emily Moore - JointPRO, a remote web-based tool that captures Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).
David Greenwood - 20Signals - Low cost home blood testing to optimise health and fitness. http://20signals.com.
Dr Leonard Anderson - Kemuri. Sensors and social care for vulnerable people living alone. @KemuriSense.
Laura Willoughby – www.joinclubsoda.org.uk. Change your drinking. Cut down, stop for a bit or quit. Set goals and monitor progress with apps, nudges and rewards, plus community and 1-1 support. Join as a founder member @joinclubsoda
Finally, do please note that, for security purposes only those who have registered can be admitted.
