Engaging & Working With Opinion Leaders to Support Commercial Success

Event Details:
Today, in the everchanging healthcare environment, education remains a fundamental requirement for commercial success. Collaboration between academia and industry has always resulted in the development and adoption of new products and practices that have benefited patients. However, physicians are burdened by increasing government and institutional regulation and are in desperate need of a new paradigm to support their continued collaboration with industry.

Explore current practice across diagnostics, device, and pharma industries in engaging key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the development and delivery of disease education, as well as evidence of clinical utility and cost effectiveness. Case studies will demonstrate how to work with KOLs to educate the community, support prescriber adoption of new products, and satisfy payors in US and global markets.

Learning Objectives
1. Understand the changing dynamic of KOL relationships.
2. Learn about succesful practices in different industry segments.
3. Gain new ideas for education that supports commercial success.
