Do I need a birth doula?

A birth doula is a woman who serves. Having a birth doula before, during and after your pregnancy and labour is one of the most important and best decisions you can make for yourself and your family. How so? We will discuss how you will benefit from the presence of a doula can help partners participate more actively, decrease use of pain medication, shorten labour time and reduce the need for unnecessary interventions and complications.

Melissa Chan, ND is a naturopathic doctor and is also a birth doula.
