Hi, please let me know about the next walk too. I looked at the calendar, and the ONLY thing I have scheduled is a class on Thursdays. I love the idea of the group and hope the weather holds up as well as it has!
Welcome to Healthy Chicago Group. We are a walking group that have 3.5-5 miles (on average) walks through different neighborhoods in Chicago's Northside and vicinity on a weekly basis. We walk at a pace of about 3-4 mph (fast) for exercise and fun. We are not a sight-seeing group, however during these walks, you will see some interesting houses, new restaurants, Chicago parks, and other businesses that may appeal to you.
Some things you should know about us:
We walk fast!
We always end walks where they start.
We keep track of No Shows.
We limit most of our events to 25 people for the safety and comfort of the attendees.
For events that are planned way in advance, RSVPs do not open until a week before the event to help with No Shows and Waiting List issues.
Members who do not check the website within 3 months are considered inactive and are removed on a monthly basis during the walking season.
