This group offers trails that don't need hiking poles. Bring your water bottles,the areas are pet friendly in most cases, don't forget your doggie bags.
This group was designed for people who want to be active, get outdoors, and get your adventurous side piqued. We do this through hiking and discovering nature trail walks. This group IN NOT lung busting, calf burning hiking into the night. This is not an an hardcore group. We are more the simple easy and moderate range in hiking. Simple and Moderate are great terms we will be using a lot.
With the use of ankle weights, your moderate hike could turn into a calorie burning inferno. In other words: you get to control at what level you want to achieve your endurance and speed.
Some of our walker/ hikers can be recognized by: a person who is considered a walkaholic , a person looking to meet new people, someone who JUST moved into town and wants to learn about our area, a mother of 4, a single dad, a person who just got a hip replacement and needs exercize, a couple of college students, a doctor doing his internship, a couple of single middle aged persons, so in other words a very diverse group.
Our common ground is walking and talking and enjoying the camaraderie between us. Not every walk/hike is for every person. However there is always something new to learn, every single outing.
Come one, come all, put on your shoes, sun screen, water bottles, hat, gloves, a smile to enhance the face, and lets get moving!
