This is my kind of walk! Love seeing the neighborhoods, courtyards and gardens that we don't get to appreciate when zipping by in our cars. Great day with nice folks!

Fred and I led the 5K walk through the traditional parts of German Village. We had some people who live in German Village who could provide us some facts about the community that we would otherwise not have known. We had a nice group of people! I know that Fred and I enjoyed the beautiful afternoon with all of them including little Sam!

Very nice hike. Very informative. Uneven pavement a little hard on the joints, otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Is parking okay at the Comfort Inn? If not, any suggestions?

Parking is fine at the Comfort Inn. There is also a parking lot just north of the inn.

I very much enjoy the German Village walk and it very popular with the AVA walking world. Looking forward to having a beer at Schmidt's after the walk with all the walkers.

Make sure you plan on eating during and after the walk. We walk by a wonderful deli and Schmidt's Fudge Haus is of course, calorie free.
