A frequently asked question is the difference between a spiritual way like the Natural Path and mindfulness meditation. There is no doubt that mindfulness has great benefits. It makes one disciplined in body and mind. It helps to restore balance and a sense of well-being in all circumstances. It ultimately alleviates suffering from life....but as one of my dear friends used to say whenever me met...Where is the Love ?
Why is love the subject of our songs and art ?
Why is it so dear to us ?
Why are lovers willing to give everything to the beloved ?
Is this because in our innermost core we know it is the most wonderful thing is this world...
A true spiritual practice is a love affair with the divine. This is not physical or emotional love that we are familiar with between human beings. This is transcendental love; it transcends the physical and mental planes of existence. We can gain all of the skills we need to live a great life with meditation, but the true bliss of transcendence is only felt when we are in love with the Eternal presence within. I assure you brothers and sisters... one dive in this eternal love is worth a hundred meditations.
Let’s meet...bring your favorite poem to share with all of our brothers and sisters and let’s start to quench this eternal thirst.
