Everything can literally change in just a few months.
I created the council when I realized that all the mobile groups in Chicago (and everywhere else) were all industry insiders preaching to each other. To really grow and guide the industry, we had to provide brands and agencies with education content and events that met their needs - not the needs of sponsors, or even the needs of the members. Almost every other group provides a speaking role for those that sponsor. We think it's disingenuous to ask people to pay for a ticket AND make them sit through a sponsors pitch. For that reason, we don't have many sponsors, but we are freed to create what we should be doing - not what a seller wants us to do.
