Talks were interesting, and not too hard core. Meaning that even a lay-man, like me, could understand the cool and fun stuff that the presentators were describing.

Easiest way to find Nemein office is to look for Sörnäisten Rantatie 27. D-door is in the inner courtyard. Take the elevator to 8th floor.

How about those poor souls on the waiting list, how many ppl can you actually take? :D

      Just come over

Should the people in the waitlist still come to the meetup? I see the limit is still 30 and there are 6 people on waitlist.

I wonder if the waiting list is actually working at all.. Or is it supposed to automatically move people to actually registered status if someone cancels

I asked Mikko the liaison about the event, there was no limit initially, however Nemein had expected about 30ish, so the limit was presumably put in place.

And yes, the wait list is supposed to work automatically, methinks after reading meetup.com helps

haha, seems that the event was downsized :D

Unfortunately, I'll have to skip this time and just cancelled it. Antii, grab the seat :)

Someone *always* cancels, or if they're impolite just don't show up (without bothering to cancel, even last minute is better than none at all).

Anyway, if no-one cancels you can always spend the evening at Helsinki Hacklab (open tuesdays from 5pm onwards )

Finally got my flight tickets secured for a little helsinki trip, choosing 15th because of the meetup, and here I am, on the waiting list :D
