The KNOWLEDGE of Nature and HERBS is  ultimately HEALTH.

Have you ever wondered why today’s prescription and over the counter medicine encompasses such a variety of harsh and sometimes dangerous side effects?

Well, the answer lies in nature—until mid-1980’s over 88% of our medicine sold in the market were made from herbs, plans, roots, spices and fruits. Today, only 15% are such like; the rest are synthetic.

Synthetic means: Artificial, Copied, Unreal, Man-made, Imitation ….

No wonder it contains such variety of unexpectedly odd and dangerous side effects. Our bodies know it is not real; therefore, it reacts and responds to it.

Nature has created remedies for our ailments; granted, a physician must diagnose the ailment before looking into the proper herbs, healings and remedies. An herbalist, by law, cannot diagnose anyone but can guide and teach you to find a way to health through nature.

Background: Since 2008, I have had the privilege of studying under several Master Herbalists such as Michael Tierra of ‘The East West College of Herbalism’ and Karta Purkh S. Khalsa, who is an herbalist, nutritionist, yoga teacher and the head of American Herbalists Guild. He is author of over thirty (30) herbal books. Growing up in Asia, herbal healing has been an undying and everlasting part of my life.

Purpose: The ‘Herbal Healing, Remedies and Classes—CSRA’ group is for those who wish to learn, share and expand their knowledge and awareness of natural healing such as every-day household spices, fruits and vegetables, as well as,  focus on Materia Medica (study of specific herb properties), Herbal Energetics, Herbal Preparations, Plant Chemistry (when needed), Chinese and Ayurvedic herbalism, Modern Phytotherapy (the study of the use of extracts of natural origin as medicines or health-promoting agents; it differ from plant-derived medicines in standard pharmacology), the Digestive & Cardiovascular systems, targeting herbs for specific diagnosis and Integrative Healing: Aromatherapy & Homeopathy., and many other worldwide traditional healing methods.

All who wish to learn, share their knowledge and introduce new findings to the group are welcome.

NOTE: The membership is free; however, there will a fee for the monthly class (when applies).

ALSO: Please note that these classes are for information purposes only. Herbalists are not physicians and cannot diagnose diseases and illnesses.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
