Medicinal and Edible Plant Walk
on the Grounds of
Havens Homestead (Ca. 1827)
Many of the common meadow and forest plants in our area were used as food or medicine (or both!) by the Native Americans and settlers. Today, herbalists and foragers continue to make use of these “plant allies” to heal and nourish. Join Brick herbalist and forager Judith Millar and learn how to ID, harvest, and use this free bounty! Handouts and recipes included.
** (Rain or shine-but not during thunderstorms)
