Fall drumming class with Kofi

Come attend a djembe drumming class taught by Kofi. Kofi is a Wolf Trap Master Teaching Artist. This class be held on Tuesday nights and will run for eleven weeks (Sept 17 and 24; Oct 1,8,15,22 and 29; Nov 5,12,19 and 26).  Kofi is planned rhythms from Ghana, Mali, Senegal and other countries including kpanlogo, agbadza, kuku, and Diansa.

We'll take a break for the holidays and start up again in January.

The price is $150 for all eleven sessions or $15 per session (pay-as-you-go).

Tentative schedule:

7:00pm to 7:40pm - Beginning drummers/rhythms
7:40pm to 8:15pm - transition to intermediate and advanced stuff
8:15pm to 8:45pm - intermediate/advanced rhythms

We will meet in the activity room.  The door to enter is the one closest to Brook Road
