This is a brand new group for those who love photography and want to share their passion with others. It doesn’t matter if you have an SLR or regular compact camera all are welcome.

Outings will be varied and ideas are always welcome. I want meet ups to be fun, enjoyable and allow us to make new friends. I will be scheduling meet ups slowly to start with until our member numbers increase, as some outings will appeal to some and not others. I also want to schedule a pub lunch or break after some outings so we can all compare photos and generally have a good chat about the day’s event.

As Meetup has made some changes to the layout and features of the site if anyone has any ideas for events add them in the message board.

To clarify why I charge an admin fee for this meet up group, all organisers have to pay monthly fees to Meetup.com to run groups and it is recommended that we charge members to cover our costs. We also have to spend time researching venues, locations, arranging bookings and the general administration involved in organising the meet ups. So this small admin fee helps to covers these costs.
