Have a lovely Easter break and see all you on Sunday 27th April ready for another ride! Any route suggestions welcomed.
(and it's 10am, not 10:30 as I thought last week!)
Thanks, A & P

If any of you are interested there is a Bike show on Saturday & Sunday May 17th & 18th May 2014 in Peterborough, it will be run by the British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF). Ticket prices vary but for a non-member day ticket its £16.50 which is probably what I will go for. The link to ticket prices is: http://bmf.skiddletickets.com/e... or the link to the show site is: http://www.thebmfshow.co.uk/
Have a good w/e.

Hi Jodie, I plan to go on the Saturday because I still want to go for a ride on Sunday :-)
Hiya John... I'm at work on the Sunday so that's why Saturday would be preferential for me. :-)
Walton On The Naze sounds great :-)

Try here, Revved Up Walton On The Naze. Lovely coastal town, there's a brilliant bike café as well that sells some unique bits and bobs, you may even see a famous character from fools and horses who is a daily regular. Great fish and chips and some very nice scenic roads to get there. Check it out on the links below,

You can always put it through car wash that has a drier at the end :-)
like it :-) but my sandwiches might get wet :-)
Good to see everyone yesterday. It was a great ride. According to Paul we did about 107 miles :)
If the sun is out for the next ride I suggest we meet at 9am and get a route out to the coast.

Hey guys, its meant to have some heavy rain at points tomorrow with the possibility of some thunder. Just wondering if everyone's still going?
0 · April 26
Looks like it will be raining at Baldock when we meet but should get better on the way. If the rain is particularly heavy we may call it off - will let you know in the morning (ideally before you leave London!)
Thanks! :) if its not that bad here, i plan to leave around 9..
Hey I hope to come to this! First ever Meetup :)

Don't be scared :-) we're friendly and there are no a Guy Martins in our group :-)
Is the service station a BP garage station? Just curious as coming up from North London and Google maps doesnt seem to want to find 'Baldock Services'. Its on the A1M isnt it?

Really important announcement - I've passed my theory test - it's all good! :)

Well done, now your on the way, good look with the next step. I would start asking for recommendations for training schools, can't beat some personal views.
Just out of curiosity how long do your meetups last?

Hi Michael, it pretty much depends on where we're going. I do like the idea of Hedingham castle which is 45 miles. We usually have something to drink and eat when we get to the destination. If you're in rush you can separate at any time :-)
Thanks for the reply. Hedingham Castle sounds nice in my opinion too!

What about riding to Hedingham Castle - it's about 45miles from Baldock services

Sounds good I have never been and don't even know where it is

Here's a couple of ideas for you, cant make Sunday to join you I'm afraid as I'm already booked up to help out on a mates ride out.
Melton Mowbry - This is all about one road, the fantastic B6047 is about as close as you will get to being on a roller coaster on a bike. Any route with this road in both directions is a winner. Melton Mowbry is a nice destination as well.
Sarrat is a nice countryside ride, there was a ride to the boot pub which looked very good, think the route file is still available.
New Forrest is always a winner
Bath which I did last year was a fantastic ride with a very picturesque destination
Finchingfield is said to be beautiful with some great roads.
Check on our forum ride and meet section on the runs that we have done for ideas. All 125cc friendly and avoiding motorways. We may even still have some of the satnav files with the routes on you can have. Also have a look at London City Bikers for ideas, its another good meet up group for motorcyclists. Have fun on your rides and I hope to join you on one soon.
