The Power of Negative Thinking (and why it's good for you)

What if positive thinking wasn't the answer to a fulfilling, high performance or happy life?

On those days when you're not at your best, do you ever find that it takes real effort to make yourself feel good?

The  'Power of Positive Thinking' is hugely popular. It teaches us to monitor and manage our thinking and cultivate more optimism and gratitude so we live happier more successful, fulfilling lives.

Whilst the intention is a worthy one, there is a hidden trap in this approach and it keeps us stuck so that we can often end up feeling the opposite of what we want to feel.

The positive thinking approach is based on a misunderstanding about how human beings flourish.

At this event, you will learn:

-Why there is enormous value in negative thinking!  Hoorah - bad moods can be good for us.

- The Big Hidden Trap of the positive thinking brigade

-Why striving to be a positive thinker is not necessary in order to live a happy fulfilling life

-How human beings are built to think positively and how you can harness this innate capacity without effort

If you'd like to experience a more effortless and graceful way to experience life,  then come along to the March meet up and discover how to escape the Positive Thinking Trap and bring more joy into your life (and the lives of others) the natural way.

Tickets are available via this page at a very low entry cost. I am committed to making this group accessible. If Paypal doesn't work for you, please contact me and I will provide bank details to transfer payment.

I look forward to seeing you in March. Refreshments will be available. Chocolate biscuits included !  - come on - that is surely the biggest incentive to book your place now.

Really great discussion around why we should treat all thoughts equally and not shie away from thoughts just bacause they are negative. Chantal is a great host and her enthusiasm can't help but rub off on you (even though I think this may go against the principles :-) )
