This group is to help coordinate group hikes in the High Country area. Day & Multi-day hikes will be planned as meetups within a 50 or so mile radius of Boone, North Carolina. Popular destinations include waterfalls, wildlife viewing areas, mountaintops, and other long-range views. Hikes will be planned for different degrees of difficulty and lengths. We may also plan other types of outdoor trips and sometimes we will coordinate longer range member hikes. (I.E. out of state or out of country trip for multiple days). More as the group grows...
