Glad you 9 had fun hiking and don't forget to upload the pics. There aren't any scheduled hikes in July and August. So now you can connect with others to hike in those two months.

Just checked the High Park website and the hike looks like it is going. There will be less than 1mm of rain in the afternoon and partly sunny. It will be damp so wrap your stuff in plastic.

We try very hard to not give up on these things. Niagara Gorge is tricky because the rocks are dangerous when wet.

    June 14, 2013

    • Jonathan

We usually finish the hike by 4pm. Some people will stay behind for a drink, while others will return immediately after the hike. It takes about one hour++ to get back to Toronto.

Driver. Can pick up from islington station at 10am. I have room for 2. I will be coming back to Toronto right after the hike

    June 11, 2013

    • Lynn

I do have room for 2 people (I can actually take 3 people if necessary) Not sure what Grace and Maria are planning for that day, but if they'd like I can drive. Please note that I will be coming straight back to Toronto after the hike.

    Hi Lynn and Sue,
I'm one of the 2 westenders Maria Victoria menioned. If necassary I can drive, and take MV with me, and that would make room for Sue +1...don't mean to complicate things.
I then would have room for 2 more, and can pick up anywhere west of Dundas West station.

    June 12, 2013

    • Sue

ok, thanks Jonathan. We will be at the carpool location!

      June 13, 2013

Jennifer, pls include me to car pool. I would like to know how much is the charge

    June 11, 2013

    • Mae

Hi Roona, I carpooled with Jennifer last Saturday and I paid $8 as we went to Collingwood (2 hrs. north of Toronto). The further the distance then you will probably have to pay more. I paid $5 for carpooling to 3 hikes and paid $8 when we went to Dundas Valley.

It's a Daddy-daurghter kind of weekend for me, so I'll have to catch you guys at another one.

    June 10, 2013

  • Susan K

Hello Jennifer, do you know the distance of the hike? Thanks!

    June 1, 2013

    • Jonathan

The hike usually finish by 4pm. It takes about an hour to get back to Toronto. The carpool cost is determined by the driver; it depends on the size of the car, the distance, and the number of people. From past experience, most rides cost between $5 to $15 pp.

      June 2, 2013

    • Jonathan

Carpool is arranged on the spot at Yonge and York Mills. http://hphc.ca/Showin...
