As noted, we usually go for a refreshment after the hike. Sometimes we even stay for dinner. If you must rush back to Toronto after the hike, please make it known at carpool time, so that we can group the drivers and passengers together.

Hiking is a dangerous activity; each participant agrees to assume his/her own risks. If you are new to hiking, please start with a Level 1 hike. Hike leader's decision is final.
This is an adult hiking club; hikers must be eighteen years or older. We do mostly day hikes on the Bruce Trail and on other trail systems within an hour and a half of Toronto. Our website is at http://www.hphc.ca .
This meetup page is for event sign up only. To become a member of our club, please submit your membership form.
All club activities are done at the participants' own risk. Each participant voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to all hiking programs, functions or activities. High Park Hiking Club, its administration, event organizers, hike leaders, carpool drivers, etc. assumes no responsibility for claims, losses, damages, injury, costs or expenses due to club activities.
