Hike Pine Mountain in Cartersville, Ga.

WE WILL MEET AT West Loop.

Directions: I-75 north of Atlanta Exit 288, east (right)on Main Street, at the end (dead end) of Main Street turn right and the West Loop Trailhead access and parking area is on the left. parking is free.

My name is Reginald and I will have on a orange hat and backpack. Bring, Bring, Bring water (3X) and a snack.

Pine Mountain Recreation Area
There are two loops connecting Pine Mountain - the East Loop and the West Loop. This is a rugged and challenging hike that reaches 1,562 feet above sea level. (no person left behind). Once you reach the top of this mountain you will be at the highest point in the City of Cartersville with a great view.

The view is nice!

This land is part of 13,000 acres that was the original site of Mark Anthony Cooper's Iron Empire. WE WILL MEET AT West Loop. Bring water (2 or 3 bottles) plus snacks

    The hike was great. Meet nice folks. A good workout, the trail was pretty steep.Regi is a good guide, "step by step- inch by inch and no one left behind" It was a nice way to spend the morning.

    How many miles, and are dogs on a leash permitted?

      Yes dogs on leash are permitted. The trail is 3 to 4 miles. round trip.
