Mule Hill / San Pasqual Valley

Note: We are likely to finish after sunset -- bring a light.

Place: Near Westfield North County (the former North County Fair)

Directions: From I-15, exit Via Rancho Parkway, go east. Take a right at Sunset Drive (first light) after the exit, and drive to trailhead parking lot at the cul de sac or park along the street.

The Hike: very flat amble around wet lands and agricultural preserve. We will pass an historic adobe that was seriously damaged by the Witch Creek Fire but is being rebuilt, the site of a nineteenth century battle, and the site of the old town of Bernardo. Expect the hike to be close to 5 miles or 2 hours.
