This group will meet on a regular basis to hike various trails in the Middlesex Fells Reservations and other local hiking areas. The Fells is a bit of woods surrounding a group of reservoirs that actually cross through Winchester, Medford, Melrose and Malden. Most of our hikes will start in the parking lot of the Flynn skating rink, 300 Elm Street Medford, as there is always plenty of open parking spots. Hikes levels vary form beginner hikes - 2 to 3 miles on easy trails lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, to advanced hikes of 7 miles that might take 3+ hours.  It's important to read hike descriptions so you understand the level of commitment to a hike.
