Welcome to Hiker Chicks of Phoenix! Our goal is to create opportunities for women of all ages that are outdoor enthusiasts to establish new and lasting friendships with other women, all while enjoying a variety of outdoor sports in our beautiful state of Arizona and beyond! No matter what is happening in a girl's life, making time for herself and for friendship is so important. Staying active and taking the time to enjoy the world that we live in reminds us of all the beautiful things we have to be thankful for. Pursuing new adventures tests our independence and pushes us to the next level. Join this group if you are a girl of any age that likes to hike, bike, ski, backpack, kayak, climb, camp or travel and, most of all, if you are a girl that likes being a friend among women!
Hiker Chicks of Phoenix Meetup Group Policies
To be a member of Hiker Chicks of Phoenix Meetup group, you must be a woman and you must be at least 21 years of age.
This is important to protect our purpose as a group where women can forge new friendships with other women that share the common interest of outdoor sports. Due to the inherent dangers of outdoor sports, all members must be legal adults and, since there may be events that will permit access to alcohol, all members must be at least 21 years of age.
Attendance at Events
Anyone that wishes to attend a Hiker Chicks of Phoenix event must be a member.
This guideline is to ensure that everyone that participates in Hiker Chicks of Phoenix events meets the required criteria for membership (Women only, at least 21 years of age).
Any member of Hiker Chicks of Phoenix is fully responsible for herself, for only herself and holds no other member or organizer of Hiker Chicks of Phoenix responsible or liable in the event of injury.
Hiker Chicks of Phoenix is neither a company nor a legal entity; it is a group of women that are affiliated through their membership in Meetup.com and by a common interest in outdoor sports. Outdoor sports can be dangerous, even deadly. Each Hiker Chicks of Phoenix member is fully responsible to:
1) Assess her own physical ability to participate in events.
2) To decide which events she will participate in.
3) To be fully responsible for herself at all times during scheduled activities, holding only herself liable for her participation in those activities and the outcomes of her participation in those activities.
Any member that has accumulated 3 "no shows" in attendance will be removed from the group.
We track attendance to reduce the number of “no shows” for our events. If you RSVP yes to an event and fail to attend without contacting the Event Host or without revising your RSVP in advance of the event, your attendance for the event will be marked "no show". We understand that sometimes our members will forget or will have unforeseen events that will prevent them from attending events they have RSVP'd to attend. However, any member that has 3 or more no-shows will be removed from the group.
Anyone that is a Hiker Chicks of Phoenix member may suggest an event and is encouraged to do so.
In order to suggest a trip, please attend a monthly meeting or, you may contact one of the Hiker Chicks of Phoenix organizers. We may request to meet you in person in advance of scheduling a suggested event if you wish to lead the event. If you visit the "Organizers" panel on the Hiker Chicks of Phoenix Meetup homepage, you can select anyone on the Organizers list to contact an Organizer by email and suggest a Meetup.
New members must be approved by the Organizer

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
