I've found the best way to handle the crowds and get the best seats; is to go in as early as possible and put down a tarp/blanket where you want to sit. (This is a free concert.) The best stage is the Banjo stage. It is where the VIP seating is and has the best crowd control and security.
I'll get up very early in the morning. I'll get good seats at the Banjo Stage, close to the front.
Bonnie Raitt is performing Friday. For the list of performers for the entire concert, click the link, http://www.hardlystrictlybluegrass.com/2013/
In the FAQ page of the previous web site is stated; blankets/tarps cannot exceed 8'x10'. That being the case I have to restrict the RSVP list to six(6) guests. Please only RSVP for one day only!
Once the guest list is filled I will send by email, my cell phone number.
When you reach the Banjo Stage call me for specifically where we're seated.
The right side facing the stage is the VIP area. I'll be in the left half near the fence that divides the two sections. So that will be the right side of the left half of the seating area.
A map of the festival area, showing the stage locations is here: http://www.hardlystrictlybluegrass.com/2012/print-at-home/HSB12_map.pdf

Plan ahead, things can be hectic until you get seated.
A nice thing about having a group and a single location to come back to, is you can leave your things and explore other parts of the Festival. Also there are many restaurants in the vicinity for a bite to eat after the music ends.
Since only a small number can attend please be sure you can show up and not deny somone else a chance for this meetup.
