Shorter hikes

this hike is perfect for older dogs or for beginner hikers... it can be 2,3,4 miles... whatever you want... it can be an easy out and back or a loop... the group can decide.... I have two dogs.. one is old and can only do about 2 miles.... but its a hike that you've never seen.. my cell number is[masked]-5909.... its in the townhomes in Five Canyons... you may want to scope this one out before the actual day.  Park in the guest parking that doesn't say "reserved"  I will be outside showing you where to park

I am recovering from an injury -- doing well, but 2 miles or so is currently my limit (maybe 3, sometimes), so I am very happy to see this. However, at the moment I can't go on Thursdays. But if you do this again on different day, (or some Thursdays in May), my Irish Wolfhound and I would love to join you!

during the week the time we could make a hike would be early eveings.
Unfortunately, morinings and afternoons dont work with my schedule for the week. I have more flexibility during the weekends.

Rosie and I would be up for the shorter hikes two to three miles max.
The afternoons on the weekend? Tilden or Shell Ridge?
Rosie is 8 and the longer hikes are a bit too much.

How about something besides Chabot? Las Trampas in San Ramon is just on the other side of Crow Canyon (not far from Castro Valley). They have some very nice trails.
