4th of July - Freedom Hike

This will be a 5 mile, nonstop hike at a moderate to fast pace from the trailhead to the downtown Riverfront Park and back.  Hopefully it will be a cool morning but you are encouraged to bring a bottle of water.  It should take about 1  1/2 hours or less.

We walked a little farther than I originally planned (best estimate 6.5 miles) and we were still 2 miles from the end of the Cumberland River Greenway when we finally turned around. Still, we had some great weather and I hope everyone enjoyed the hike. Maybe next time we will start somewhere closer to Riverfront park and work our way back in the opposite direction.
