How did you get to become part of this hiking club?

What do you like that this club accomplish in the long-run?

A healthy society and social responsiveness

I am a laboratory biologist and educator, and appreciate hiking and nature.

What Raju R. is saying about this Meetup Group

I started my hiking experience with the Tennessee Hiking Group(THG) some 5 months ago. Soon, I found a niche to form a new hiking group for members who want to walk non-stop for 5 miles. Typically, these non-stop hikers have experience in long distance hikes with little effort. As part of THG, we had several of these non-stop hikes, and were well received. In these non-stop hikes, hikers generally form a front and back group to accommodate moderate- as well as fast-paced hikers.
