Get a bit of hiking in before that Labor Day Barbecue!
This is one of my favorite Headlands hikes... We start at the Spencer Avenue Bus Pad and hike the ridge around to Hill 88 then down to Rodeo Beach... then back up along the Rodeo Valley Trail.
This is a moderate, 9 mile, mostly exposed hike with a bit over 1700 feet of elevation gain, a wonderful variety of spectacular vistas and plenty of opportunity to be grateful.
This is a late summer Coastal hike... which means fog/cloud cover is possible...
Bring: Layers, hydration, snacks, sunscreen, joy... and as always gratitude for our plentitude!
