Excellent all the way! The hike was great, the hikers were wonderful, Nature was smiling at us, and the bonus was Rachel's inspiring yoga instruction. Thank you, Rachel and everyone!

It's not going to happen for me this morning - sorry for late notice.

    Hi Kate,

Yes, could you come to the Embarcadero Bart Station by 9:15 am. So I have a very full car--Kate, her boyfriend, Rachel B. and Avanti. If someone wants to help out Avanti, she lives in Oakland, which could prevent her from taking BART.

Hi Rachel - making it a bit easier for everyone - I'm raising a guide dog right now and I couldn't find a puppy sitter so I can't come :-( what a shame... Thanks for offering... See u next time!

  • Avanti

Hi Morteza - I will meet you at the North Berkeley BART at 9:40 am. Thanks!

Morteza, do you have a cell number in case I need to get in touch with you? My phone number is[masked]

Great, see you tomorrow morning. I sent you a note with my cell number (I am somewhat paranoid about putting my number on public forums!).

Okay, you guys let's get organized--Avanti lives in Oakland--it might easier to pick her up near her home. Can you do this Morteza? Liam, you live in SF. If you come to Embacadero Station at 9:15 am then I can pick you up. Unless, you have moved Liam and you now live in Berkeley. Is everyone on board with this plan? I have Kate, her boyfriend, Rachel B. in my car.

Avanti, I may be able to give you a ride but can't confirm until Thu. I live on east bay so will be coming up 880 through Oakland, but I may need to be in Davis on Friday which means I will becoming from the other direction. I will confirm if you don't find a ride by Thu.

Hi Morteza, if you are passing through Berkeley and still have space please give me a shout! I will be getting the BART from SF on Saturday morning. Thanks, Liam

Hi Liam, sure that works. Lets meet at North Berkeley BART station at 9:40. I have 4 empty seats. Avanti, would that work for you?

    Hello Avanti,

Could you make it to the North Berkely Bart, if so I could pick you up from there?

    May 13, 2014

    • Avanti

Thanks! Sure - I can meet you at north berkeley BART. What time do you need me to there?

      May 13, 2014

There's a bus from Berkeley BART to Lake Anza (67) which is pretty close! The bus only runs on weekends so just check the date if you're Google mapping it

      May 15, 2014

  • Liam De B.

If anyone is going through Berkeley with space in their car please get in touch. It is actually fairly accessible by bus on the weekends but it takes a bit longer. If anyone else is willing to get the bus, the 67 goes from downtown Berkeley to Lake Anza which is just a mile walk from Inspiration Point.

I have a fun class played for Saturday. If your plans have changed then please change your reservation. Much appreciation. If you are running late then text me--usually I'll wait at least 10 minutes. 415.793.7050. I look forward to hiking and practicing with you on Saturday. Oh, no yoga mats needed, if you would like a towel that is fine.

    Hi all,

I'm interested in joining this hike this Saturday, but I don't have a car. I live in Oakland - is anyone going that has space for one more person in their car? I'd be willing to meet at one of the Berkeley BART stations if that is easier.
