It was really awesome! I think probably the steepest hike I have ever been on...but, there were some areas of flat....so, a few chances to catch a breath. I didn't do the bat caves...but the views part way up and at the top were absolutely fabulous....SOOO lucky the weather was mostly clear for us! It would be a tough hike to do if you didn't have the reward at the top. But, I'd love to do this one again!!

Perfect company....even the dogs were in heaven....you can see by the pix that they were also beat at the end!

This was by far one of the most amazing hikes I've been on in many years! I can't wait to go back. It's a wonderful challenge that would be fun to do again many times. The Bat Caves were a bit hard to find, luckily there were many friendly and helpful people along the trail that were more than willing to help guide me along.

Pam, I'd like to carpool too. Is your car full? I'm thinking about leaving Marlowe at home so I can ride with someone.

Just an FYI: I've done this hike a few times and it's very easy to take the wrong trail! So make sure you bring a map and have everyone stay together.
