Thanks for organizing another wonderful hike Bob. It was almost perfect..... the wine helped numb the black fly bites! Thank you Andy for your wine .

Thanks again, Bob, for organizing this hike. I had a great time with the group and enjoyed this trail very much, despite the bugs that followed me back from the lake! Another great choice :)

I can probably drive and bring three people. Where do I get a pass though?

I can't buy one online so I'll try to figure out how to get a NW Day Pass when we meet up at the P&R.

You should be able to get one at the trailhead but it looks like we may have enough cars to provide transportation for everyone so you won't have to worry about getting a pass.

As usual, will meet you at TC, needing a ride. See a forecast for near perfect weather (clear, not too hot) so really looking forward to yet another terrific hike with this super group of Friends! Lunch after?

I'll be coming to the transit center by bus. Is there room to ride with someone to the trailhead? Thanks in advance!

Depending on how many turn out for this hike, I may need to split the group in two since we are only allowed 12 to a group in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness .

The last time I hiked it, it didn't seem that long. It seems every hiking book is different.
