Bob, you did it again. Thanks for your wise decision in changing the venue and making the hike a memorable one. Something tells me that you have the sixth sense in identifying the weather patterns. The day was perfect with a little of sunshine, gorgeous views, blueberries and Bob's famous hot cocoa. Thank you.

Amazingly, we managed to get a great hike in before the bad weather hit. It was a perfect way to spend Sunday with a fun group. Thanks, Bob!

I need to back out, too. Sorry for the late notice but my kids just asked me to hike with them in Olympic Nat Park tomorrow. They seldom have time to go with me so I can't turn them down.

See you at the next hike.

Sorry, I'm not going to be able to make it. Hopefully someone from the waiting list will get a chance.

I am really sorry to do this (I know last minute cancelations are frowned upon), but I have had an emergency come up with a client of mine that needs to be addressed tomorrow morning, and I am not going to be able to make this. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello Bob, you were so gracious last time to bring hot cocoa for everyone. This time I will bring the hot chocolate packets and light Indian snack. Would you be able to get hot water and cups if possible? Thank you.

    • Bob G.

Sure Cash, that would be no problem.

What's the avg pace and can you get there without snow tires? Thanks

    February 10, 2014

    • Bob G.

We will be hiking at a moderate pace. Depending on the weather, you usually don't need snow tires. The elevation at the trailhead is only 800 feet.

Is the trail not reachable if there's snow?

    February 9, 2014

    • Bob G.

The trail is reachable. When I cancelled today's hike, I was more concerned about the hazardous road conditions.
