Historic Walking Tour April 27, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Join the Friends of Druid Hill Park on our Historic Walking Tour of Druid Hill Park. This major urban park of 745 acres is one of the oldest urban parks in the country and a direct result of the early American Public Parks Movement. Only Central Park in New York City, 1858, and Fairmont Park in Philadelphia, 1859, pre-date Druid Hill Park.

Friends of Druid Hill Park members Tom Orth, Ed Johnson, David Ditman and Rob Brennan will provide the commentary.

Tours begin at the Rawlings Conservatory.

**This tour includes significant walking.**

Tickets: $10.00 All proceeds benefit the Free Programs provided at the Druid Hill Farmers Market.

It was awsome ! All three guides were extremely knowledgeable and did not spare their enthusiasm and efforts in general to attract new and reconfirm old friends of Druid Park.

Ok, tried to get to the Conservatory by 1100. Didn't make it, I wasn't familiar enough with the area, maybe next time.

Saturday is a busy day at Druid Hill Park

1- Ecofest will be starting at 11. The road in front of the conservatory will be closed. I would suggest parking along Swann Drive (Madison Ave entrance to Druid Hill Park). And walk up to the Rawlings Conservatory. 2- Remember we did change the star and end location to the Rawlings Conservatory. See you tomorrow.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
