I won't be there if it hot. I can't stay hydrated and honestly usually don't hike in the summer. Thank you.

The directions listed are correct (except that it's OLD Bosley Rd. that you pass before reaching the parking lot) but the map shows the destination as being on Old Bosley Rd., rather than on Dulaney Valley Rd., which is the correct location.

Kellee, im sure Greg will agree: as long as you two can keep up until you decide to turn around it shouldnt be a problem...Kevin

Great, thanks! He loves being outside as much as I do and he's been hiking before, so we can't wait!

Hey! I'd love to attend this hike, but I will have my little boy with me. He's pretty active but I'm not sure he can handle seven miles. Is it ok if we join you guys and turn back on our own when he gets tired?

I wont be there if it's 90 degrees and humid.

Is the trail pretty shaded? I got a heat rash from walking around the City yesterday. I don't sweat a lot and concerned the heat may be overwhelming or maybe I just need to carry a number of bottles of water.

    July 4, 2013

    • Greg

I carry two 32 oz bottles of water on every hike and am fine.

I'm good with 7 or 9. Is there a place where those who want can drop off at 7 and those who want to continue on can do so?

    July 5, 2013

    • Greg

The trail is directly up and back, so you can drop off at 7 miles.

      July 6, 2013

    7 or 9 - depending on weather conditions - heat and/or rain :)

I am afraid I may over heat. Have fun.
