Billy Goat Trail in Great Falls Maryland 6 miles moderate hike & Part B option

Directions from Baltimore: I95 South -> I495 (Silver Spring). Go around the beltway to Exit 41 West (R @ Clara Barton Pkwy) -> Left at MacArthur Blvd (@T) -> Park on the lot across from Anler's Inn or by the roadside. Parking on Angler's lot, you may get towed.

Hike about 6 miles total. Flat on tow path and rocky on Billy Goat Trail. Moderate Hike. There is an additional 4 mile option for those who want to do Trail B. Others can walk the tow path back to the car.

    Anyone wanting to carpool please leave a comment here. We will be meeting at the park and ride right off of 95 exit 47 near UMBC at 8:30. It is the park and ride lot near Rolling Road.
