Patapsco State Park Hilton Entrance 4 - 7 miles easy to moderate hike

This is an easy to moderate hike about 4 -7 miles and there is one hill to climb (very short), but we will take breaks going up the hill. Great overlook at the top. There may be a $2 fee at the entrance (honor system).

Directions from I695:

Take I695 Exit 13 Frederick Ave West towards Catonsville. In about 1.2 miles, take a left at South Rolling Rd (Light). In 100 yards, take a right at the fork to Hilton Ave. Proceed on Hilton for about 1.5 miles and take a right into the park entrance. Take the first right turn to shelter 245 and park on the lot.

Directions from Old Town Ellicott City:

Take Fredercik Rd from Old Town EC for a few miles and make a right on South Rolling Road (Light). Note: you will pass North Rolling Road (Do not turn there!). In 100 yards, take a right at the fork to Hilton Ave. Proceed on Hilton for about 1.5 miles and take a right into the park entrance. Take the first right turn to shelter 245 and park on the lot.

Irene, I live in Federal Hill and can take you. I don't know the City well. The Pruple and Banner routes have stops near me.
