Sunday Afternoon on the Little Gunpowder- Bottom Road Trailhead

Stepping off promptly at 1:25 PM.  Some easy stream crossings. Easy terrain trail. Just enough small hills to feel you are getting a work out. It is an out and back trail of about 5 1/2 miles. Follows the river.

Directions from Belair; Take Harford Road to Reckord Road. Turn Right onto Reckord. Then left onto Guyton Road. Parking is on the left near the bridge. Directions from I--695: Take Harford Road north. Go about 7.5 miles to Fork Road - make a left on Fork. Go about 2.2 miles and make a right on Bottom Road - follow Bottom Road and you will cross a bridge. After the bridge make a quick right on Guyton Road. Parking is straight ahead on the right, by the water. If no spots to park, you can park along the road either on Bottom Road or before you cross the bridge on Guyton Road.

I hope everyone had fun and I'm sorry I missed it. I had every intention of coming, but I was running late and knew that I wasn't going to make it in time. I changed my RSVP, to let you know, but I'm not sure whether you had access to it. I wish that I had had a phone number to call to let you know that I wouldn't be able to make it after all. Sorry if I caused any problems. I hope to catch you on another hike sometime soon.

WOW there were so many things that I was going to say butn it was all in fun. Like the breakaway of one member should have her removed. :>) The rebel, that led the hike, had her moments in school! The one person who only did the last half after joining us at Harford Rd. :>) And no I am not Moses!! :>) But seriously always good hikes set up by Susan! Lots of fun, good pace! But if your not coming after signing up, let someone know or change your RSVP! No hiker will be left behind!!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
