The Michener Art Museum in Doylestown has a special exhibit on the life of Philadelphian Grace Kelly. Movie star, Princess of Monaco, she is one of Philly's most famous people. Kelly Drive is named after her brother, John B Kelly Jr, called Jack, a city councilman and oarsman like their father. Many of us have passed the statue of their father, John Kelly Sr, who won 2 gold medals in the 1920 Olympics for rowing, on Kelly Drive next to the race grandstands.
