Ridley Creek State Park is an area that a lot of people like to hike. Finally we are going. The park has 12 miles of wooded trails and 5 miles of paved trails. Most of the park is gentle rolling hills, though I've been told there are some steep areas.
We'll explore the area for 3-4 hours starting at this parking lot right along the creek . There are about a dozen lots at Ridley Creek, so make sure you find this one.
Caution: You should be able to walk 3-4 hours without much of a break.
You should have recently hiked 8 miles in conditions detailed above. Hills, bushwhacking, & rocky conditions. Hilly Hikes Warning: you need to keep our pace on hilly hikes. If not try another shorter duration hike.
To carpool from Hill House meet at xxx am. Each carpooler chips in $xx at the start. Email me 3-4 days in advance and receive a reply.
