Each year we hike the nature center during 'berry season'. Sometimes we hit it right for either raspberries, blackberries, and/or wine berries. We also pass by several enclosed ponds that often have zillions of frogs. The park trails wind left and right with lots of short steep ups and downs.

This is a real interesting hike because we head out of the center for a good part of the hike and explore rarely visited parts of the park.

We'll hike for 3-3.5 hours covering 7-9 miles.

Caution: You should be able to walk 3-4 hours without much of a break.
You should have recently hiked 8 miles in conditions detailed above. Hills and bushwhacking. Hilly Hikes Warning:

To carpool from Hill House meet at 1115 am. Each carpooler chips in $1 at the start. Email me 3-4 days in advance and receive a reply.

Is there a limit on amount of guests? My two oldest sons want to go but the RSVP is only allowing for one guest.

Now it's my three oldest boys. Age 21, 19 and 17. Is this ok? They're experienced hikers.

Looking forward to it & I'm up for a misty/light rain hike if that is how the day evolves. I will meet you all at the Environmental Center at 11:45. Sidney - can you send me your cell # just in case?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
