The Belmont Plateau Maze, as I call it, is a maze of trails near Belmont Plateau that are difficult to find and then difficult to find your way out of. There is no map.

Once each fall when the are area is most beautiful we hike, get lost in, the maze for 1-2 hours. Then we will explore the nearby Horticultural Center that includes the Japanese House, gardens, arboretum and greenhouse. We usually can visit the greenhouse for free though there might be a $2 charge.

We'll explore the area for 3-4 hours starting at the parking area along the road near Chamounix Mansion, right next to the stables. The trail has lots of small ups and downs.

Caution: You should be able to walk 4 hour hike without much of a break.
You should have recently hiked 7 miles in conditions detailed above. Many small hills. Some bushwhacking.

To carpool from Hill House meet at 11 am. Each carpooler chips in $2 at the start. Email me 3-4 days in advance and receive a reply.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
