Amy, I hope I didn't freak you out too much by my reaction to your loose dog. At the time I had no idea whose dog it was, but as I'm sure you could tell, I was not happy. I am very protective of our dog. He has been attacked and bitten at the dog park and I was once bitten by a loose dog in the neighborhood, so I am very wary - especially of big dogs. Also Wegerzyn often has very small children there at any time of day. Just something to keep in mind when you let your dog loose in a park.
So cool to meet you and Irish today. Sorry we didn't have a chance to say goodbye. I hope you feel better. Hope to see you on other hikes.
Best of Luck and may God be with you in your travels with you and your son on the AT. What an AWSOME adventure your going on. Take Care. Cathy Hines
Ooops! Glad you will be coming - not "Gald"

Hello Amy, It was good seeing you and your growing boy.... I can't believe how much he has grown the past few months.... I wanted to be sure that you were aware of the Open House at Taylorsville Metro park on August 10th at 7:00pm ... Metro parks is presenting their plan for the trail changes. I thought you may be interested in attending.
Take care and happy trails. "
Hi Amy,
Just noticed you're a fan of the Red River Gorge area... I just spent the last few days there (came back this evening, in fact), and it's a beautiful area... unfortunately it was too hot/muggy to really enjoy it, but I'm looking forward to getting back there again when it's a little cooler. Would like to hear what your favorites are there.
Anyways, looks like we'll be meeting each other soon for the Clingmans Dome trip, if not before, so I thought I'd say hello.
It was wonderful meeting you this weekend.
We will miss you, have fun on your trip with your puppy.
Welcome to the group Amy, I look forward to meeting you soon at a hike.
