Crystal Cove - The Elevator (Level 2+ Intermediate)

Pace: Medium

Length: 8 Miles with hills

Duration: Around 2.5 hours depending on speed

Directions: From Newport Coast Road take Ridge Park Road uphill until it ends at intersection with Coastal Peak Road. Trailhead is at the end of Ridge Park Road. Park along the road and meet at trailhead.

Plan on arriving 15 min early if you have not been here before or want to use the bathrooms at nearby sports park

Description: We start at the Ridge Park entrance in Newport Coast at the top of the hills for free parking. Our route will take us down Pacific Ridge, No Name Ridge and No Dogs trails to the ranger station (bathrooms and water available) where we will stop for a short break. From the ranger station we will hike Moro Canyon and then take the Elevator trail to get to Bommer Ridge Rd. and back to parking.
