ABOUT THE HIKE :
THIS HIKE IS FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO HIKING AND A WORKOUT FOR REGULAR HIKERS. IF WE DON'T HAVE NEW HIKERS, WE'LL GO FOR A WORKOUT ONLY (CAN BE SLOW PACE)
This is a nice hike, a great exercise outdoor at sunset with fresh air instead of being in gym. This is a dog friendly trail
Estimate hiking time about 90 minutes. The route is around 4.5-5 miles and [masked]ft gain/loss.
- Let's plan on meeting at the back end of the park to make a more interesting hike and to avoid the parking fee. The pace will be slow to moderate. It feels like a roller coaster on this hike.
- Trail shoes with great traction are recommended as it is more comfortable hiking on hills. Bring water
Sometimes you may get a ticket if you park in the zone "NO PARKING anytime" Try to come early or park at Cedar Grove Park parking***
