I like both hiking and traveling.
I am going to Yellowstone and am looking for a roommate for hotel sharing. I wonder if you are interested in sharing a hotel room with me.
Nice to see you here. I'm up for mid day hike or later on, especially during the week. How about you?
HI Brooke: i signed up for this morning's hike last night. then this morning, i went to find the hike to confirm meeting place and the couldn't find the hike listed on the meetup website. However, now as i retrace my keystrokes i find that it may have been necessary to push the "more" tab, in order to find hikes scheduled on a second list of hikes. sorry about not showing up...could i please avoid dreaded "no show" label, as i had all intentions of going. thanks, Kevin
Brooke, haven't seen you in a while; are you hiking? Waiting for you to schedule a hike; what's up?
Welcome to our group. We hike up Monserate Mtn every Sunday morning. We currently start at 7:30. This is an excellent intermediate hike, a great workout and the view from the top is the best around. Everyone walks at there own pace, we climb 1200 ft in elevation in 1.6 miles. Round trip is 90 minutes. Hope to see you soon. The hike is cross posted with the Fallbrook Land Conservancy Facebook page. 4 to 8 hikers even gender is common.
Hi Brooke, Welcome to the North County Ramblers! We are a group of walking and light hiking enthusiasts who get together for local walks and hikes close the Hwy 78 corridor. We try to schedule walks and hikes at different times and on varying days of the week, so there's something for everyone. We would love to have you join us on one of our upcoming hiking Meetups. We also encourage you to suggest Meetups. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Jen
Brooke, are you hiking during the week; if so, let me know if you want company.
Hey little Turtle Rock Chick-a-dee! Wanted to say hi & thought it would be appropriate to record our findings - in your profile greetings is quite appropriate. I had fun on our map-less scout to find "the other side" of "Flagpole" - & from the landfill, no less! You were right on the mark thinking we could find a way to Flagpole from "our side". There is another place I would like to go in the Angeles forest - it will require the same adventurous spirit - maybe "J" & a few others can join us...
So the GC trip is coming close:) How about leaving around 9am on Fri. That gives enough time for you to drive down here. GC is about 6hrs from my place so we'd probably reach around 4pm with enough daylight to put up our camp. Shoot me an email so I can send you my address. [masked]
