HI Brooke: i signed up for this morning's hike last night. then this morning, i went to find the hike to confirm meeting place and the couldn't find the hike listed on the meetup website. However, now as i retrace my keystrokes i find that it may have been necessary to push the "more" tab, in order to find hikes scheduled on a second list of hikes. sorry about not showing up...could i please avoid dreaded "no show" label, as i had all intentions of going. thanks, Kevin

Hi Brooke,
Welcome to our group. We hike up Monserate Mtn every Sunday morning. We currently start at 7:30. This is an excellent intermediate hike, a great workout and the view from the top is the best around. Everyone walks at there own pace, we climb 1200 ft in elevation in 1.6 miles. Round trip is 90 minutes. Hope to see you soon. The hike is cross posted with the Fallbrook Land Conservancy Facebook page. 4 to 8 hikers even gender is common.

Hey little Turtle Rock Chick-a-dee! Wanted to say hi & thought it would be appropriate to record our findings - in your profile greetings is quite appropriate. I had fun on our map-less scout to find "the other side" of "Flagpole" - & from the landfill, no less! You were right on the mark thinking we could find a way to Flagpole from "our side". There is another place I would like to go in the Angeles forest - it will require the same adventurous spirit - maybe "J" & a few others can join us...
