Howdy Hill Country Hikers!!

That's right--as some of you may know, we here in DFW area are right on the edge of the "Texas Hill Country"--twenty miles from where I am right now as the Red-Tail Hawk flies. We have a variety of hiking Venues that offer unspoiled nature, scenic vistas and more than a little bit of a challange. So whether your thing is "a stroll through nature" or a heart-pounding trek up and down some hilly terrain or burning up the trail at break-neck speeds, or photographing the wildlife--we've got it! And, besides that, "Hill Country Hikers" is just such a cool name!!

We've been gearing-up for the Fall Hiking Season and praying for a little cool weather! We now have three Assistant Organizers: Claudia, Greg and Melanie who are gonna help us out by planning some exciting outings for us. If you have some great ideas for a hike or other kind of event, email myself or one of our capable AO's! Or maybe you could get excited by planning an event of your own--if that's your passion, email me and we'll talk. And if you're interested in planning other kinds of events: Museum outings, music venues, returaunt Meetups--we can do that too!
