Full Moon Walk in Glendalough

These Full Moon Walks are an excellent opportunity to see beautiful landscape by the light of the moon.

The walks will be short 2-3 hr walks starting at 8pm in the evening during the Summer months.

There is transport (available for this walk €10 return - Dublin Tourism Office - Suffolk St at 4:30pm, you can pay for this on the day but would need to have prepaid for the walk to avail of this (limited spaces of 14 for bus).

About the walk : The walk will take us from the Glendalough Hotel on part of St kevins Way along by the Glendassan river and onto the side of Camaderry from here we will follow a forest track down towards the upper lake. We will then continue on by Reefert church (The King's Cemetry) and along the side of Derry Bawn (The White Oak) following a trail overlooking the monastic site and excellent views along the whole valley.
